thursday:
left school an hour earlier to get ready for sports heats 'o8! (tracks this time)
initially didn't wanna compete in track because
1. felt my speed hasn't been used since i don't know how long ago..
2. haven't been REALLY training speed,
3. afraid of lack of stamina
4. afraid of hurting myself [apparently it's less than a month to ballet exams]
5. SOO HAN will be there. [she's an athelete that doesn't look like she has SO MUCH speed, but ho boy, when i saw her compete in 100m, she totally owned the other girls]
6. i dont know, just dont feel like it. hahaha
BUT alisha decided against all these factors and went for the heats!
since i already took part in 2 field events,
i'm only left with an available slot for my individual events in tracks.
and i chose 100m because i'm a speed person, not a stamina person.
as for team events, im going for 4x100m relay :)
i hope the baton skills i had haven't been going down the draiN! :O
ANYWAY, alisha lost to shirley at 100m.
by JUST a bit i heard? a bit.

as for soo han, not possible. she almost won the nationals 100m girls. only at the last minute, unfortunately, our dear ex-co counsillor to-be fell :(

the whole of today went by quick enough i guess,
was waiting for time to fly by so that the sports heats for field events can comeeeee
so yay the day went by, NE talk today was fun :)

okay okay then, YES.
SPORTS HEATS.
but it took such a damn long time okay. so many boys and the boys went first.
then finally it was our turn.
threw shotput first.
not up to my expectations yet, only around 8.9m.
i wanted 10m.
shall train for it!
hahaha but whatever lah huh, so lil' girls took part for shotput, so yep alisha is leading this one.
then it was the javelin!
LUCKILY my throws landed nicely
not like angie-style (you know, flat.)

okay so they landed nice and at an angle,
i didn't exactly see the distance i threw (heard it was 12m+ )
anddddd they said i was leading. again.

I am Bold, Grown-up Cheese.
I'm a bold, big city person. Museums, theater, fine dining and cool shops... I can even appreciate performance art. I've got grown-up tastes but I'm not stuffy or stiff. hi again.
friday -
had to hotel stay cuz it was mom's bdae.
so she got a room at Fairmont. the one connected to raffles place (i think).
after veg. lunch at some veg. restaurant, checked in at hotel.
wanted to go get myself sun burnt at the hotel pool but i had to go meet cheerene already,
so in the end i slacked a bit in the room reading twilight.
(oh btw i JUST finished the book!)
uh huh then met cheerene at city hall mrt,
walked allll the way to marina AND FOUND OUT STEP UP 2 WAS SOLD OUT.
okay nevermind, called chan and then we ended up watching it at suntec's E.W.
oh yeh YY tagged along.

OKAY so then watched step up 2 the streets for the second time!!
ended up bouncing and c-walking out of the cinemas.
