LONG DAY.

day started off pretty fine.
or should i say more than just pretty fine
met the cact outside lib because we both reached early
and she decided to be cool and take the slope up
instead of the overhead bridge
so basically i just stood there waiting at the overhead bridge for nothing -_-'

she headed to TehYL's essential graphics after chillin
WHICH I SO NICELY OFFERED TO PRINT NOTES FOR.
see C you better thank me.
got colour some more okay mine black black one lor.
hahahhaa i should stop being so demanding.

as for me, i headed to WinnieT's CMM make up lecture.
(luckily i wasn't late!!)
not bad not bad at least i wasn't boreddd.
at least i learnt something new, something useful.
therefore=fruitful=happy (:

Had an hour break before our own Ess Gra class with EthanGuooo (:

during the break,
WE WERE MAD.
as in, the class peeps clique that actually hang out together and make merry.
headed to design school's canteen to makan.
(oh btw did i mention i TOTALLY forgot about my bag and left it in AV classroom so i had to run back to get it. luckily MsTan was still in the room)
how can ANYBODY forget about their bag?
i think it's because i hardly bring my bag to school,
unless i feel like it occasionally. like today.

ya so back to our break.
made so much noise
talked about so many random things
(gays, dance, western food, gossip, more gossip, even more gossip ok shh)
i ~~kinda~~ VERY MUCH enjoy the company of this bunch of people.

oh ya.
this other group of people sat at the table pretty near us,
i think they're HTM students since junyi was there.
they all damn enthu la. they wore the yellow biz shirt.
so us very vocally-expressive CMMers decided to prompt the biz cheer.

supposed to be a 3 hour class but we were released early!
say, early two-ish.
aren't we a smart bunch.

(lucky got direct bus 15)
saw the last group of grade 8s have their exam
gave them that bit of moral support
which i hope meant something to them!

followed ms lee to watch nian's soccer finals again,
this year, its St Stephens vs Pasir Ris Primary, again.
AND the match was held at Pasir Ris Primary, againnnn.
good match and although St Stephens didn't win,
the boys put in great effort.
saw how agitated Ms Lee was during the match.
are all mothers like that when something has to do with their child?

sooo after that ms lee & uncle jeff sent me back to school
CMM Council Orientation!
eh fun okay.
not just fun-ish, but fun

main CMM council people are whoo gila to the siao but okay thats fun.
weird bunch but i think our batch also gonna become like that at this rate.
andrea, prez of CMM Council kept asking me:

GDF 4 hours today hi i never expected to have DnT training in secondary school (esp upper sec dnt) come in handy for GDF
which stands for Graphic Design Fundamentals
dang.
haha no it doesn't train us to be designers or anyth of that sort.
just lets us understand how adverts and things like that are done.

SO YES. i thought i sucked at drawing.
apparently there are worse draw-ers (drawers hahahah) out there.
and yes the amount of sketches we did during sec 3 and sec 4 DnT is no joke okay.
No. Joke.

After 4 hours of feeling like a primary school kid drawing for Art class,
we headed off to LT for MADsoc.
no lah. media society lecture.

eh. i wanted to sleep and was dying of starvation/hunger.
didn't eat breakfast,
didn't eat lunch.
oh didn't have time for dinner too because had auds for mod.
mel was teaching for the aud la

lecture wasssss hahaha idk you decide.
smart people like us didn't print the lecture notes.
(BUT i was paying attention ok.)

after lectures
chilled a bit.
okay, a lot.
went to eat sushi
then drink a1 chendol
then go wyman's place to lepak.
and we spent the first 10mins on okto watching some kiddo show that i thought was.. i shan't say here heh.

eh then went online on man's comp
WHICH WAS DAMN LAG.
but since he already warned me before i touched the keyboard,
i could prepare myself and didn't get agitated at the comp harhar.

looked up for old tamp road
in the end we searched for the wrong add

went to void deck to kick the soccerball around.
YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE NUMBER OF FLIES OR WHATEVER THE NAME OF THAT INSECT IS CALLED.

finally some time to sleep in.

today's supposedly zetten family day,
noon at parkway to ecp.
i thought i had to bring mom to the usual place for healing but
mom didn't tell me today don't need -_-
so here i am, wasting time at home.
probs heading to marine parade later to meet up with them for dinner!

hi i see dark clouds. is it raining in ecp.

i'll be productive and go to the online portal and enrol myself into the courses.

sighhhhhh this is bad and very blurdy unexpected.

official first day of school today
good way to start school
kinda??

hmm planned to go to school 2 hours before actual lecture at 9am
so we reached around 7am
in a bid to try and spend the time for exercise
but no, the weather had to spoil it all
and the sweatshop doesn't open till 8.30am
great.

anyway!
we had fun time slacking
(although im sorry chua you couldve slept more heehee)

9am lecture about journalism
i thought it'd be a bore
i mean, how much fun can journalism be right?
i was wrong.
hi mr ramesh is such a cool lecturer.
the kind that doesn't sing lullaby during lectures.
and one thing special:
he can just read names once,
look at the person
then remember it immediately.
how freaky is that.
i don't even remember as much
and as quickly
and as efficiently
as he does with faces and names.

youtube vids during lecture = nice.
something for us to ponder about.
like students in this day and age..
people around the world..
etc.

i need to read papers more often.

next,
had an hour break.
hung with our fellow coursemates at bizpark and outside the LTs
~~they~~ we're a fun/funny bunch!
either way, i like.

then,
another 2 hours of lecture
this time, by ms teh yee ling
more inclined towards lullaby-singer
but she's serious so okay, it's also a good way to start off our AY
(academic year)
in between lecture,
2 groups of people came in.
the first group = CMM comm people. i think they're mainly in Junior year/Year 2.
stylo bunch. interesting.
second group = pacesetters aka Student Council who rep the school during official events.

after everything
we just sat in the LT and wasted time while the rest went off first.
needed time to stone since i ran out of chocs.

today,
i didn't meet up with bizcheerleaders and zettens.
sorry :(
brought chua around opp tp and walked all ze way to interchange/tm area.
wasted more time at tampines one
(which one? LOL)

came home.
buzzed off to pick shanya up,
then send her home and headed to mp.
helped mslee with setting up exam stuff
grade exams begin tmr~
(hi juniors all the best!)
actually, i didn't do much
but i accompanied tree to run all the errands like getting random things such as thumbtacks and doyleys.

then i came home.

if not i could've gone back to school and meet zetten awhile.

2 days of orientation has ended.
Business won champs for the FIFTH consecutive year!
(for inter-school in TP's week 0 orientation)
i think it's amazing considering the fact that we only had TWO days of orientation
whereas other schools had at least 3 days!
the regatta dragonboaters were AWESOME
did you see how they rowed, ALTOGETHER?!
they looked as though they were clockwork bots.

although our cheerleading team didnt win...
WE HAD FUN!
and that's more important than winning :D
and we did real cheerleading-style of cheerleading k
not every school (in terms of Schools in TP) did proper cheerleading.
(many thanks to tp blazers, our cheerleading cca for their gracious help!)

tired and aching from jam&hop
which lasted about 1hour++
didnt dance as much but i watched a lot!
oh oh hi tpde hiphop damn dope
as if you don't already know haha
oh oh and tpde modern damn cute today when they performed during regatta
so either way, GO TPDE.
sorry couldn't cheer as loud because voice = cui = very bad.
(from all the cheering during regatta)

oh oh yes we had class time in the morning when we reported
got to bond with classmates that bit more
some are funky
maybe one or two = downright weird
others i haven't really got to know yet
but it's ok there'll be more time to mingle!

mr D, our coursemanager gave us briefing in the morn
i like the way he speaks.
i think all cmm-ers are trained to be like that.
it's not uhm the accent or anything like that.
it's the... presence.
yep.
he comes in, he stands there,
and you have "OK. i need to listen to this guy and what he has to tell us" inside your head.
not like some other super duper boring speakers
nono not the music speakers im talking about guest-speakers.
they talk = lullaby = sleep.
i'm sure some lecturers are like that too.

had really formal and brief introduction to the other team members of the cmm staff,
didn't really catch their names though.

urgh
today is ultimate rush.

had been doing what for this week?
i don't really remember.
monday class. rush classes.

tuesday go out meet candy and saw holqa peeps like panda and mel.

wednesday go support tk's syf.
(i = disappointed. could've been better. and i don't think judges made good results.)
anw i was feeling ill then, felt like throwing up.. but no, i still went to support them because it's a big thing for them.
when i got home, i had to eat plain porridge and medicine and go to bed early.
say, 9? (when i usually sleep past midnight)
so that's very early aye.

thursday = today = mad.
woke up feeling much better.
had plain porridge for breakfast again,
didn't cause much upset-stomach probs..
but i got hungry fast, during orientation.

got sabo-ed to be part of biz regatta cheerlead team which = pretty cool but pretty weird.
my first time doing real cheerleading stuff.
quite fun.
tp blazers are friendly.
regatta stomp team is cool too.
they're in charge of making all the noise and dropping the cool beats.
and finally, the regatta dragonboat team.
(heheh, advantage of being located by the reservoir)

all the regatta people are separated from their classmates.
(not too sure about the dragonboat team, but stomp and cheerleading team were definitely separated from their actual class groupings)
so instead of bonding with classmates,
we bonded with.. enthu people!
i hope.
lol. supposedly those that volunteer = enthu people right?
[i bet most of the volunteers for regatta are either ex-tprawkers or FO-ers]

ANYWAY.
main point = i still dont know exactly who my classmates and coursemates are.
but i'll get to know them tmr.
hopefully.
from like 8.30am - 12.30pm.
THEN there'll be more regatta training sessions.
not enough time!
we'll make it, somehow.
business school has emerged champions for the past 4 years.
and they're aiming for fifth champs.
looking at our freshies...
(other than the enthu regatta or mass dance team)
i don't know how we're gonna make it to champs la.
we have another day to bond and get it right.

met up with panda today
better known as amanda/anya
anyway, had our rubbish time say about an hour or so @ espy
decided against rooftop because the weather kills
pretty fun, got to watch this bunch of uh really sexy dooods
they were so skinny
i swear they can dance better than most girls in that aspect/style.
fwoah man seriously.

then there was a bboy group
saw the fuyo boy again, i keep seeing him around.
he's good!
they were sessioning too.

just before panda and i left,
kh came!
ah well said hi but didnt stay to watch him or else it'll be dope.

so panda went to meet holqa peeps for bowling,
then me and shay aka shihui aka candy walked walked.
decided to catch some movie so we walked past bowling place and guess whose backview i recognised!
mellowello.
prodded ahxiong the holqa's best freshie to doublecheck if that was mel cuz we wanted to BOO! her but she wasn't startled or anything so okay attempt failed.
they went to catch sniper.
mel pronounces it as sneeper. hahaha loser moment mel ;)

candz and i caught confessions of a shopaholic
okay i know it's pretty darn long since the movie came out but hey i haven't gone to the movies in a while alright!
heard F&F4's packed with the action and nice cars.
should catch it but don't know if we've got time.

after the movie,
we went strolling ard marina sq again.
coincidentally bumped into the holqa group, again.
bugged mel to see if she wanted to hang out with us but nopee she didn't so okay

went to get breakfast takeaway then went to the vivo open area to sit tgt and eat.
pulled kayla to get superdog with me muahahha.
had a little bit of bonding time with GLs, with freshies (:
so good to see everyone again!

anw, had to leave when they headed to sentosa because of classsss

BUT I RUSHED BACK FOR DINNER!
awww just can't bear to not go meet up with FO people.
had a jolly good time cheering and cheering at the mini theatre place!

had our main comm / GLs to lead us in cheering and WE OWNED.
there were some NP people and some SP people there.
but the ratio of THEM ALTOGETHER to tp people is like
1:5 ?
so you can imagine how big our group is!

then suddenly!
some sp and tp people started to get all pushy.
a bit buaysong you know?
then all the leaders rushed forward to push those agitated ones back.
t'was a bit scary.
imagine if a fight broke out.
luckily our leaders were so responsible.
I'M SO PROUD OF YOU LEADERS, IF YOU EVER GET TO SEE THIS.

and one of the sp people were damn childish lah,
shouted "STUPID SCHOOL!" to us.
by the way, that = leaving bad impression on YOUR school too.

but i think we have a lot of respect for our leaders that's why no fight broke out..
although some were really really agitated :(
once tat yi shouted SIT DOWN
you could see hundreds of us sitting down like how a tamed dog would listen to its master.
pretty cool huh. (JUST portraying the scene, im not saying we're dogs aight!)

hung around for a bit more,
then the atmosphere became more relaxed.

back from foc!
guess what i already went hoarse after day 1,
only left with half my voice by the end of day 2,
and by the end of day 3, goodbye voice..

had such a great blast but hey the first thing i saw up on the tagboard was by... GUESS WHAT, I DON'T KNOW WHO!

"(: lesson learnt: don't action think you're damn good in dancing then malu on stage. tpde doesn't need act pro dancers like you when you obviously suck. stunts does not equal dancing?"

okay firstly,
i don't think i'm damn good in dancing.
the only reason why i went up was because the GLs (group leaders) had so much faith in me and everyone was just so encouraging. besides, nobody else wanted to go up. (hey if you wanted to go up, you should have voiced it out right?)
malu on stage.
yeah i did malu on stage.
my bad?? (the only people i need to apologise to, is to all of Zetten.) BUT YOU KNOW WHAT? My Empire is so awesome and although i feel really bad, the GLs, the freshies and everyone were so encouraging.
so proud to be in an encouraging Empire. and really, thank you everyone who cheered for me even though you're not a Zetten freshie/GL.

personally i didn't see how the Dancing Queen danced since i was blindfolded what.
[ha ha and i heard so many things bout how she dance, so....]
but if she's better, she's better alright? congrats and good for her (:
as for me,
all i did was to go up and be spontaneous.
besides, i did do Zetten proud even though i didn't win.
i'll keep learning though, passion doesn't stop just because of a setback.
i'm sure tpde would gladly like to TEACH me and i'd gladly learn and work hard to get better (:

fun but didn't last long cuz we had to sleep and FOW freshies had to go home.
first place for Day 2 as well but we didn't know the score till Day 3 morn.

everyone had to wear dark coloured tee because..
water games!
ran from station to station to play games that'll involve water no matter what.
real fun!! some stages involved soap too. like cleaning Amphitheatre and the soapy slope.

and homg Holqa caught up with us after water games!

woaa i tell you, Zetten got so demoralised when we heard about the tie.
madness.
but FA (facilitator) and GLs encouraged us to just chiong and go for 1st place.
so for Hunt-gry, everyone was really going all out even though we were super worn out!
needed full cooperation from everybody and it was a bit difficult but i'm glad everyone was helping Anthony in leading Zettoz (our sub-empire)
i'm sure other sub-empires were working very well too, so...

followed by Holqa who was really sad because they tied with us previously, after watergames..

rinku was pretty sad at first but.. zetten says: RINKU, WE LOVE YOU!

and actually, no matter what position you got,
it doesn't really matter that much.
what matters in the end, is the journey throughout the camp.
how much we bonded,
how some total strangers in the beginning, could talk about anything after 3 days of camp.
cheering our hearts out for our beloved empire.
loving our GLs who loved us freshies.

i'm sure all of us would like to thank everyone who ran this camp for us.
i haven't been to any camp, any environment like TP's FO.
i'll probably need perfect language skills to describe how much i loved it.
(or maybe.. i couldn't tell you how much i love FO even if so)

right now,
most of us would be suffering from post-FO syndrome.
randomly hallucinating,
hearing cheers (when nobody is cheering),
seeing things and relating everything to TP and FO.

Example 1: a bunch of us freshies sitting in a rather crowded macs last night while waiting for GLs to arrive.
and ALL of us could hear cheers ringing in our heads. but noooo, nobody was cheering.

Example 2: saw some news report about badminton in some random sports hall and we'll immediately somehow link it to tp's Sports Complex.

Example 3: ji dian le? (what time is it) SHI ER DIAN AH SAN DIAN AH LIU DIAN AH JIU DIAN. one of the Nexo cheers. heheh.

GEM 4
FAIRY OUR TALE

!!!
i think i haven't
laughed so hard,
wow-ed so hard,
screamed and cheered so hard for a long while.

rushed down to tamp aft class
decided to get flowers for our so great mel
cheerene was half dead over the phone
and cammie was still on the bus with her..
so yep i went ahead to get the bouquet
which i think was quite nice!

then coincidentally, while going up the escalator,
tree shouted my name and i got a bit startled
like woahh okay this is too much of a coincidence~
then tree was like eh why you holding flowers OH YA FOR MEL ! SHIT KITTY WE DONT HAVE FLOWERS!
lolll funny lah so they went ahead to go buy and told me to go meet tash and zhong at the traffic light
!
great i didn't even know so many ppl were meeting up here.
so then we bus-ed to tp tgt
AND THEN
on the bus while walking past the front seats
suddenly this leg stuck out in front of me
trying to obstruct my way
then guess who
kayla aka meixian aka tprawker
noreen and panda amanda anya lee were there too,
along with 2 others i dunno, their ssp juniors or sth.

so okay reach tp
found audi entrance
many familiar faces
even ocrew was there :)

so supposedly fredy would be taking over but..
he didn't come today
[heard that he got injured :( ]
instead, allegra took class today
(lol, i was bout 5-10 mins late. the traffic jam = so so so soo annoying i think you could see smoke coming out from my ears)

i think she was kinda distressed..
and the things/techniques she taught was slightly different?
usually we'll do en dehor pirouttes but today she taught us en dedan pirouttes
uhm non-dancers, it's just a fancier way to describe turning away or towards the supporting leg :D
which i think ain't right because it'll throw some of the newer dancers off whatever they were practicing beforehand?
(not allegra's fault though i guess she didn't know)
and chaines also slightly diffff
so okayy i apologise, i know i wasn't really enthu during today's class.
i really thought fredy would be taking our class :/

OKAY class aside,
went for supper after taking attendance!
with wilson pristen zhixun jan and amber
we ordered mee, omelette, prata and whatnot.
oh ya the iced milo tasted reallllly creamy
hohoho.
then we were talking about random things like
NS, the army, dance-related.. THEN IDK HOW WE GOT ONTO THE TOPIC OF L4D HAHAHA.
[no i haven't tried l4d before! not until just nowwww]

okay so yes i admit i get freaked out by horror movies esp jap/thai kinds.
so i don't watch em.
eh BUT L4D IS FUN
(it could be a cure for anger-management problem kids)
the first 10 minutes while getting used to the game i was screaming/shouting "DIE!!!! DIE DIE DIEEEEEEEE!!" at the top of my voice
(ya, imagine you just turn behind and the zombie is IN YO FACE)
pretty much oblivious to my surroundings
i bet the other gamers (as in the other ppl, not my friends)
thought i was mad
but okay after that i could control myself hahahaha.
it's not that scary though
i think resident evil is worse cuz more of single-player game right.

OKAY hopefully i dont get nightmares thinking of another scarier game called F.E.A.R.
never played that one before but i heard (and imagine) it's pretty badass scary.
